CAPPADOCIA (2 Nights&3 Days)

We will depart from hotel at 5:30 am and head for Konya. Upon arrival at Konya, we will visit the museum of Mevlana the biggest Philosopher of Turkey and Sultanhan Caravanserai. Our tour will continue with bus drive to Cappadocia. We will check-in to 3 stars hotel where we will stay during our tour. The next day, tour will continue with visit to Urgup Fairy Chimneys Goreme, Avanos, The Red Valley and Underground city. End of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel and have free time. You may also buy ticket to Turkish Night Show that is organized by hotel. Tour will end with transfer back to Antalya.

In the time of Herodotus, the Cappadocians were reported as occupying the whole region from Mount Taurus to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea).

Cappadocia, in this sense, was bounded in the south by the chain of the Taurus Mountains that separate it from Cilicia, to the east by the upper Euphrates and the Armenian Highland, to the north by Pontus, and to the west by Lycaonia and eastern Galatia.

The name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage.
